As some of you have asked and others are wondering still, I am doing much better now. Knowing what was wrong and exactly how to fix it, I have been keeping on the healing/strengthening path and hopefully it won't be long before I'm more or less healthy again; though I fear that I have been left with some lasting damage for the rest of my life.
Still jobless, but this and the next few months will tell.
That said, anyone who wishes to know more may ask.

*sigh..shakes head* Well I have been yet again thwarted from working on and finishing some of my works, my novel "The Kingdom of Forever" being one of them. Not by choice, I assure you. My computer desided to die on me and I can't retrieve my writings, or even turn it on, until I get it fix. I'm sure that the motherboard has decided to go out for the fifth time in a row and it will unfortunatly take money that I don't have to get it replaced again.
Until that happens, I am left to pound my head; but I am by no means left with nothing to do. New poems, tales and possibly artworks are lining themselves up on me. The current one I'm working on for 's Writing Contest [link] has especially been boring into and frying my brain as I delve into the Lord of the Rings for inspiration.
Another one has been doing the same as I also delve into Pirates of the Caribbean for that inspiration. That's why I've also been in a piratey mood lately.

That being said, I have only two questions for you all:

Why is the rum gone?
and
Where's my jar of dirt?

*smile..nod* Greetings to you all. I hope you’ve been well.

It’s taking me quite a while to try and catch up on the goings on here, as I am still without steady internet access. I trust you’ll forgive that I’m not able to read or comment to a lot of journals or deviantions thus, but to bare in mind that I do still very much care about each one of you and the fine beautiful work that you create and post. So even if I don’t comment on it, chances are that I’ve still seen and appreciate it.
This said, I’d like to thank each one of you for still being here and still having a passion for what you do.
To those of you that have written some great stories, poems and such that I haven’t been able to read yet due to lack of internet time, please let me know which ones you would like me to read the most and in which order. I do have the means now of at least saving it to a desk and reading it at home.

As for how I’ve been and what’s going on in my life….it has been a bit stressful and trying on me for the most part. Having my little sister over here visiting has been a relief and joy to me yet again.

As some of you recall, I had been trying to get my business up so that I could start working again and getting some money to at least ‘live’. *sigh* Now it seems even that is maddeningly beyond my reach. I am now completely without money and the means of paying off my bills, which are assaulting me at every turn. I would probably be trying to work now, but for the impassable walls that have been set up in front and around me. One of those walls being the lack of funds to pay a business grounds fee to start working in my home with clients at the only job I’m suited for and can try to handle at the moment. Now I am once again struggling to stay afloat and just…survive.
The major cause of all this is, of course, my bad health. I have been weak and sickly with a degrading and often times painful disease ever since the spring of 2008 and suffering with it ever since.
The good news is that I’ve recently found out almost exactly what the main cause of it is. The bad news is that it is not something uncomplicated and simple to get rid of.
To fight for my life or to die…that is my main concern now. Kind of depressing, but I’m still trying think positively about it. At least I have my writing and artwork to keep my mind calmed and occupied.

Anyway, I shall still strive to be here as often as I can, as I find no greater joy than to share life’s interesting experience with all of you.

I thank you yet again for your support, comments, favourites, watches, spirits, hearts and dear friendships.

Here is seen a future Earth that knows war and death as common as screams upon the night air. Mortals have been set not only against each other, but also against the forces of darkness, with demons that lurk inside every shadow and within the light in human form. Faith diminishes as the human race struggles to survive the evil that has a fanged grip on them, sucking their life and hope away.
The end of everything is within grasp and yet…hope may still flicker to life in a select few of unlikely individuals as they come together to discover the high and noble destiny that they all share within a deeply rooted mystical past as old as time itself.

I hope that everyone is doing well and fully enjoying this spring that is bringing forth life again to its renewed form and glorious beauty. You can feel your strength renewed along with it, thus so do I.

It is hard to lose those of four-legged children and other members of our dear families, but one must continue to move on with the consideration that as the terrestrial stories of their dearly departed have ended their own story continues to move forward unto the destined plain…whether near or far.

I had a bit of an artistic/writers block for a while due to the bad state of situations and old and new pains increased, but have more or less gotten over it. Thus you will be seeing/reading more from me in the months to come. Whether or not I will finally get my internet back is another matter, but I shall strive regardless to be online more often.

I thank you all once again for your support, comments, favourites, watches, spirit, hearts and dear friendships.

I must apologize for my continued absence, as our internet service was turned off from lack of funds to pay it anymore.
We have run into very hard times these passed weeks. I, with my continuing weakened/sickly condition, don't have any money with to see a doctor (or even to live on for that matter) and have yet to find a job with this fallen economy.
My sister, who is in pretty much the same condition, has been trying to hold on to her job so we could at least pay for rent, power and food. However, the last 3 weeks has seen her almost bedridden with her condition and has had to recieve a leave from work at that time just to rest from the strain. That time was also spent in and outside of ER's and doctors offices trying to discover what her condition is exactly. She is trying to slowly get back into working, (with me by her side) though it is proving difficult for both of us. This Tuesday will see us in another doctor's office to hopefully find out the root of her serious condition.
In the meantime, we are left literally struggling to support ourselves. We are now having to resort to asking others for help until things go through and we are at a more or less safe level to try to hold our own again.

At this time...I through my pride aside and do now humbly ask those of you who are able and/or willing to please donate some money/funds to us, at this time or whenever you can. You can send it by way to my paypal account: laurawolfeyes@hotmail.com (which also accepts credit cards)
I don't care just how much any of you can give...even $5 is a blessing.

MYTH
(Fantasy/Mythological)

Set in the time and world surrounding Ancient Greece...

This is a tale told by an old logopoios (storyteller) about a young warrior woman who finds herself wondering through a mystical land full of wondrous and beautiful creatures. A rich land of inheritance, given only unto the fair and powerful children of Poseidon.
She is but a stranger in a god's land, persued by the shadows from her past. Hope of living seems to be lost within the nightmares that so often haunt her dreams...until her fated path leads her into the company and fellowship of a mysterious cloaked man, with eyes so yellow-gold and piercing as the Sun, and his strange feline animal companion, with a gaze as deep as the ocean and beautiful as the moon on a midsummer's night dream...


*grin* I just couldn't resist. This story is far too good to be kept a secret any longer.
I'm hoping that I will be able to start writing it soon, as it is continuing to invade my mind.

I will be giving it a PG rating, do only to some violent and bloody scenes. I wish this story to be enjoyed by all at least 10 years and older. Though, it's really up to the parent to decide just what their children can take.
I find it interesting how the old/ancient cultures thought and had faith that their young children (say perhaps 8-13 years of age) were mature enough to handle subjects deemed only for adults in these modern times. I suppose the success of a parent relies on just how well they trust and teach their children.

I am currently in the process of constructing my own business ~MedicineWolfeyes.
This will be my only income, as I refuse to take on any other job in the meantime. It would only put unwanted strain on my already stressed and weakened body/mind, due to my dehabilitating illness that I came down with earlier this year.

I hope to have it up and running by the end of next month.
Any and all support for me in this would be greatly appreciated.
